Oh dear, I will have to watch out for gedders triumphant Germans next Tuesday. Seems he's hitting the crest of a wave at the right time!
What's sort of nasties does he have?

It's true my good dice against Paul's bad ones his half track and reserve infantry not showing up till turn 5 Phil could we knock points up to 900 or what ever suits you I'd like to try a few different things out without losing my core units e.g. Panzer faust or air observer type things see if there worth the points Paul's artillery observers took out a whole squad of 9 figures in 1 go last night both our snipers fired rubber bullets

I can but will have to field a base-coated miniature to do so- that ok?
Unless you have a tank and its worth me fielding a AT gun which is now fully painted?

Mind you, just realised I could field some vets instead of regulars which will probably bridge the gap easy enough.
Basically, 900, OK!

Have to say, the use of a goal difference really does change the way you look at a game as you go a-hunting for the easy team kills and, perhaps, lose focus on the objective(s).
Rich and I had a good game and, for once, my american air power actually decided to go blue-on-red, twice! Lessons learnt from the game- do notin the first 2/3 dice out of the bowler hat (yes, bowler hat) re-deploy your leutenant to a "better" position so his leadership could make a difference after a good prep bombardment. Opps, I left his head hanging out and Rich's sniper duly took it off!
Anyway, I need a game for the 25th, if anybody is around?

Done Gedders. What points? 1000?
Can you bring your bowler hat for the dice bag again?

Fred and I had a game today. Sadly for me we didn't establish that it was a league game beforehand, so it's a practice. We played 'Demolition' and despite massive Soviet casualties, it was technically a draw. If it had been a league game, I killed 6 sections and lost 1.. also would have the +1 for over half the enemy killed. Ah well.

+1 pts for over half the enemy killed? I think that both Rich and I need those adding to our leagues scores- well reminded Martin!!
I'm stuck deciding whether to buy Germans or Soviets. Typical roving eye of a wargamer. Martin, as the custodian of both, can you summarise?
