All
This is now booked for Saturday 17th Jan, all tables will be linked you will have 4ft width to play in. There will be a good guys side and a bad guys side determined by random draw, no Trev you cannot choose to be bad !
We should fit three games in of 3 scenarios and interference in games either side of you is allowed both verbally and with your retinues.
Opponents will be determined by randomly drawn seat numbers.
All told we are looking for a right giggle and a precursor to the WI day on 31st
No seriousness allowed !!!

All one thing to note
Retinues will be as per list in book and not tailored in anyway

I'm booked in for the WI event, although I haven't managed to play a game yet... so this might be on the cards too All one thing to note Retinues will be as per list in book and not tailored in anyway Do you mean they have to be one of the 40 sample army lists, or just built using the units from the book and no 'in-house' mods or anything Dan has added after publication?

not likely to have retinue ready in time for this :-( Having read the lists again - I doubt my Fireforge boxes will give me a 'legal' force from those pages without purchasing some extra figs.

Mog my Teutonic knights boxes did so will the crusader/templar boxes
But people appear to be put off by the "only use the lists in book statement"
So if you are available come and play we all have sufficient figures for the book lists you can use

:-) Cheers. I picked up the Foot Serjeants and Mounted Serjeants..(so no knights), but looking at them again they are pretty heavily armoured and could pass for 'men at arms' I might just be able to muster a German retinue - once they're painted of course!!

Don't know if this will help some of you with your retinues, but if you have a look at Dan Mersey's blog, there are some 'official' lists that mean you can make a retinue out of pretty much 1 box of plastic figs For a description and links to the lists have a peek at merseybooks.blogspot.co.uk/2014/12/have-yourself-lion-rampant-christmas.htmlObviously, if it's a hard and fast rule of only from the sample lists in the book, this is no use - but I thought with them being official lists by the author himself it would be worth while letting you all know as they should fit in with the lists in the rule book without stretching the min / max that Mr Q has mentioned Have fun x

Cheers - problem I had was to use what I already bought and try to fit to the lists on p 59-60.. I reckon I've cracked it now! I can definitely field a 'German' retinue with a bit of chopping and changing - joys of plastic! Got them all assembled now, just making some pavises. Half the foot are painted, but now that I have a plan hopefully I can crack on with the rest. Doubt the 'Hogg' transfers will be ready soon so might have to go plan B re the heraldry :-)
