I'm happy to run a Bolt Action League if players are interested.
I think we should aim to start off by getting 500pts painted each and then increase the size of the games as we go along. If you don't have 500pts painted yet I can lend you painted stuff until you do.
You can get a 500pt force from a box of Perry Miniatures Desert Rats (£19.00 or less) if you are concerned about the expense, and they don't take a lot of painting.

I might possibly be interested. I like your idea of starting off with small forces in order to encourage those of us who don't have anything! I've only played it once with James Morris, so I'd like to get in a few more games before committing myself in order to see if I like it. They've got to be easier than painting 28mm naps, right?!  |

according to Army Builder I have more than enough Soviet toys to make 500pts, but they still need a lot more work and I've never played or read the rules!

Enjoyed BA so far but have nothing in 28mm (until I get those 8th army painted).. Quite keen on the 'Blitzkrieg' early war though..
Would you have 500 pts armies not restricted by period, does the point system allow you to pit early against late war pretty 'fairly' ? (Hard to picture French rifles and FT17s up against Tigers and assault rifles!)

Tbh Scrivs, it's not really a game I was looking to get into - but I do already have a box of lead not being used (and a T-34!), originally purchased to play Warhammer Panzer Battles... so quite some time ago!!

My Panzergrens are nearly done. I just need to get a few hours to finish them off totally. I like the 500 points idea too, get me used to the rules and decide what to paint next.

I have Soviets, Germans and Brit Paras in 1000pts. Again, i'd be happy to give this a whirl if the league isn't going to last for too long
