Based on our own musings and Geraints campaign pack for his Bolt Action events I've come up with the following rules and restrictions:
800pt lists for North West Europe or Eastern Front 1944
No vehicle flame throwers, driving round with a SdKfz251/16 does not make you the new Rommel!
Medics and assistants cannot fire the machine gun of a transport that they are being carried in.
Medics and assistants cannot be targeted / assaulted by enemy troops unless they have already shot at one of your units.
Mortars cannot fire out of buildings and can only fire out of woods if they are at the edge of the wood.
If you are using any vehicles over armour 7 then you must notify your opponent when you arrange the game so they can be prepared to bring out their own 'big guns'.
Figures must be painted with at least a basecoat.
Players to agree on the size of the game - between 500pts and 1000pts when they arrange the game. If playing 600pts or less play on a 4ft square table.
Set up table before rolling the mission, if possible get a neutral to set up the table.
Agree on terrain effects before starting a game.
Please try to play at least one game every two weeks.
Each Allied player will play each Axis player, so four rounds to play.
3pts for a win, 1pt for a draw, 0pts for losing.
Make a note of the units killed as per the rules and we will use this as a 'goal difference'. If you kill half or more of the enemy units you get +1 bonus league point.
Players so far:
Scrivs & Phil R - British
Phil H - United States
Fred - Soviets
Mog, Ady, Mick & Gedders - German
Mog will be able to assist Fred, apart from in the games where he is playing Fred, in which case we are all happy to help Fred, even though he usually does for his dad without assistance and it may be Martin who needs the help.
Any comments or complaints?
